Exercise on Oak Island . September 18 & 20, 2008
A bank on Oak
Island was utilized for fire training evolutions by various
local agencies. The sponsoring agency was Oak Island Fire
Department.
Our agency was
there on September 18, 2008, for fundamental fire attack
evolutions utilizing smoke bombs and a smoke generator. We
also attended the live fire training on September 20, 2008.
The evolutions entailed all
the components of the Incident Command System, forcible entry,
emergency egress/wall & window breaches, firefighter rehab,
water supplies and aerial operations..
