Village of Bald Head Island is accepting applications for the position of

Public Safety Officer II (PSO-II).

Successful candidates will have a positive attitude, good customer service skills, be adaptable to change, be a credentialed NC Paramedic, and possess at least one of the following credentials and be willing and able to obtain the other: NC Firefighter I/II and/or NC BLET Certification.  Candidates must also be willing and able to acquire additional certifications and levels of training in:  a valid class B North Carolina driver's license, Water Rescue shore based and rescue boat based, AHA ACLS, PALS and BCLS certifications.  Preference will be given to the applicants who possess at least two years of experience. Salary starting rate will commensurate with experience and qualifications.  The Village offers a highly competitive salary and employee benefits program.
