Chris McCall was hired as the Assistant Village Manager/Development
Services Director on September 15, 2004. Chris previously worked for Brunswick County as the County Land Planner and had served in that capacity since March of 2001. Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Urban & Regional Planning in December of 2000 from East Carolina University located in Greenville North Carolina.
Prior to attending East Carolina, Chris served as a Communications Specialist in the U.S. Army (1991-1994) and was fortunate to be stationed in a Support Group for the 25 th Infantry Division based in Schofield Barracks Hawaii.
Chris was born in Biloxi, Mississippi at Keesler Air Force Base, but calls Greenville, NC home where his parents settled after his father completed his tour with the U.S. Air Force.
Chris is currently enrolled at the
University of North Carolina at Wilmington working towards a
Masters of Public Administration concentrating in Coastal
Management. Chris enrolled in the Fall of 2008 and hopes to
complete the program in 2012.
In addition to playing golf, Chris enjoys
spending time on the beach with family and friends.
